Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty is a very popular procedure in our practice. It is the key procedure in "mommy makeover". I have transitioned over the last few years to doing this procedure entirely without drains. This eliminates the need for postoperative drains and their later removal and also the discomfort of having them in during the postop period. I have been using the progressive tension technique in which the skin is advanced and stitched down to the underlying muscle of the abdomen during the surgery resulting in less space for fluid to accumulate and also reducing the tension on the actual scar from the excision of skin. This has improved our results considerably and also the patient satisfaction with the postoperative recovery.
Hip & Butt Enhancement
I have been active in the field of body contouring since the earliest days and was an early adopter of the techniques of liposuction and fat grafting. I have had a lot of experience with these techniques and have perfected certain aspects. We are able to transfer high volumes of fat successfully.
It is important also to be aware of the dangers in this procedure and to always avoid the risks that have caused disasters for surgeons and their patients, when the surgeons are not adequately trained or experienced.

My practice has included reconstructive plastic surgery, including microsurgery and hand surgery, and more recently I have been applying my skills more to aesthetic surgery. An area of special interest is fat grafting/transfer.
