The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
All about this important credentialing organization. Being somewhat biased, since I am Certified by this organization, I believe that this is the most significant qualification for a Plastic Surgeon. There are other credentialing boards, but their standards and requirements are not as rigorous as those of the ABPS.


The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)
This site has excellent information about the various procedures that are available. It has abstracts from recent journal articles, and the news media.




The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
This is the organization with which  most Plastic Surgeons certified by the ABPS are affiliated. This is an excellent site with well organized information, and a referral service.




The American Society for Surgery of the Hand
Dr Green resigned from the Hand Society in 2007. Because of the trend in his practice to Cosmetic Surgery, and time constraints, Dr. Green has had to limit his activities.
